Garden Plan 2018

Time to expand!
This year my hope is to get a high enough yield from my garden to feed my little family year round, with the help of preserving, of course.
I live in the PNW, in zone 8. I've been looking in to growing vegetables that do best in this area, as well as how much I should grow for my family. I choose my seeds based on 3 things, how well it's reputed to do in my area, what the shelf life is, and how difficult it is to grow.
I'm hoping to track the success in both seed saving and growing heirloom varieties.
